In just over eight months, the world’s eyes will turn to Kansas City for the first of six games Arrowhead Stadium will host as part of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

With one of the world’s largest sporting events making its way to the region, communities including Marshall are gearing up with the hopes of attracting international visitors. Marshall Tourism Coordinator Rebecca Adams says having the World Cup in Kansas City makes it an exciting time for the area.

Adams says Marshall Tourism’s partnership with Missouri Life magazine will allow them to use the latest technologies to attract visitors to Marshall.

Adams adds that Marshall Tourism is also revamping their advertising efforts through Missouri Life over the next year, and will also partner with another firm to distribute travel brochures throughout Missouri and surrounding states.
