John W. Paul, 79, of Slater, MO, died Sunday, September 28, 2025, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with Diann Grable officiating.  Burial will follow at Shawnee Cemetery near Warsaw.

Born April 18, 1946, in Sedalia, he was the son of the late Thomas Henry Paul and Lena Irene Gowins Paul.  John lived in the Marshall for many years at Marshall Habilitation Center where the staff became a part of his family.  John enjoyed a variety of things including watching movies (especially ones with John Wayne), going on rides (especially ones that were taking him shopping or eating), as well as the holidays of Christmas and Halloween.  John will be missed by his housemates and those who cared for him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and other relatives.
