
Robert Lee “Bob” O’Bryan, 87, of Marshall, MO, died Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 13, 2025, at Concord Christian Church, near Arrow Rock, with Pastor Ron Klingenberg officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday at the church. Born July 9, 1938, in rural Cooper County, MO, he was the son of the late James “Red” O’Bryan and Ruby Burton O’Bryan. Bob was raised in the Hardeman area and was a 1957 graduate of Marshall High School. On April 2, 1960, he married Sylvia Self who survives of the home. Bob lived in the Saline County area all of his life and retired from Marshall Habilitation Center following 34 years of service. He enjoyed old cars, restoring and bringing them back to life, as well as drawing and painting pictures of cars and trucks. Bob was a member of Concord Christian Church.
In addition to his wife, Sylvia; he is survived by three children: Tammy Coslet (Raymond) of Marshall, Michael O’Bryan (Julie) of Blackwater and Robbie O’Bryan (Shelly) of Marshall; two bonus children, Shirley Hedrick of Marshall and Bill Burton (Chris) of Marshall; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, John O’Bryan of Marshall and Billy O’Bryan of Marshall; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Dorothy O’Bryan; and one brother, Jim O’Bryan.
