Numerous city council and school board meetings are scheduled for Tuesday evening, including several that were pushed back because of Columbus Day.

Monday’s federal holiday pushed the meetings of the Blackburn and Glasgow Board of Aldermen to Tuesday night. The Glasgow board will meet at 6:30 p.m. to hear updates from OWN Engineering on several projects as well as consider a museum tax levy. The meeting of the Blackburn Board of Aldermen will begin at 7 p.m. with an update to the city’s DNR audit and paperwork.

Several school boards are also meeting Tuesday evening. The Marshall Public School Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. The board plans to review an update on the closing of the Northwest school building. The Carrollton and the Sweet Springs School Boards will meet later at 7 p.m.

More school boards are scheduled to meet Wednesday night as well. Knob Noster and Green Ridge both meet at 6, while Glasgow, Santa Fe, and Pettis County R-V will meet at 7 p.m.
