Two area teens were injured in a one-vehicle accident reported Monday, Oct. 13 in Warrensburg.

The crash was reported when a 17-year-old driver crossed the center of the roadway and struck a tree while traveling along North College Avenue at 3:35 a.m.

Both the driver and a 15-year-old passenger were injured and taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that neither occupant were wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident.
