At least three blocks in Moberly are going under a boil advisory after an emergency water main break.

The City of Moberly’s public works department announced Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025 that a service interruption has occurred for the 800 and 900 blocks of Sinnock Avenue, 900 block of St Charles, as well as 715 Franklin. The outage may also impact surrounding areas.

Any residents experiencing low water pressure, or a loss of water service, will go under a 48-hour boil advisory when service is restored. Anyone under a boil advisory will need to bring any water intended for consumption to a boil for three minutes, then allowed to cool.
