The Moberly School District continues to evaluate their options for what projects to pursue, should voters agree to renew their bond levy this April.

Supt. Cristina Wright tells KMMO News that at Tuesday night’s meeting, the Board of Education reviewed recent changes in state law to determine how much they’ll be able to accomplish with a successful renewal.

Also at Tuesday’s meeting, the board authorized the use of purchase cards by the district’s athletic coaches.

Moberly’s board of education also approved an agreement with Grand Canyon University that would allow the district’s paraprofessionals to pursue continuing education.

Supt. Wright noted that Moberly will host a public meeting Nov. 6 at 5:30 p.m. to discuss the district’s five goals outlined in the their Comprehensive School Improvement Program. The meeting will take place in the Professional Development Room at Moberly High School.
