A 23-year-old man from Glasgow was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident on Missouri 240 in Saline County on Friday, October 17.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident was reported at 10:35 p.m. as a vehicle driven by the Glasgow man began to travel off the right side of eastbound 240. The driver then overcorrected then went off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch, and became airborne. The vehicle overturned and came to a rest in a field.

The driver was transported by MU air ambulance to MU Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Troopers report the driver was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident.

The accident was reported near east Silver Avenue in Saline County.
