A Lee’s Summit man lost his life after his pickup left a Warrensburg roadway early Sunday, Oct. 19.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the 41-year-old man was driving his pickup west on West Pine Street around 12:50 a.m. when as he approached the intersection with Water Street, his truck went off the roadway and struck a ditch. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
