A Huntsville man sustained moderate injury after his vehicle went off a highway outside Columbia on Saturday, Oct. 18.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the 40-year-old man was driving his car north on U.S. Route 63 around 3:25 p.m., when his car hydroplaned and went off the right side of the roadway near the intersection with Route 763. Troopers say the car then hit a bluff and overturned. The man was treated for moderate injuries at a Columbia hospital. Troopers add that the man had not been wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
