The Glasgow man seriously injured after a crash Friday, Oct. 17 along Route 240 has lost his life.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the 23-year-old had been flown to a Columbia hospital following the one-vehicle crash, but was pronounced dead early Saturday morning. The man had been driving a pickup truck east on Route 240, when at around 10:35 p.m., his truck went off the roadway near Silver Lane and struck a ditch. The pickup overturned and came to rest in a field about three miles west of Glasgow. Troopers say he had not been wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
