A teenager was struck and seriously injured early Sunday, Oct. 19 by an unknown vehicle driving through downtown Norborne.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the collision around 1:45 a.m. at the intersection of East First and South Walnut. According to the patrol’s report, an unknown vehicle struck the 19-year-old man in the roadway and fled the scene. The man was flown to a Kansas City area hospital.
