Carrollton R-VII Schools continues to benefit from donations made by Carroll County Memorial Hospital.

Earlier this month the hospital purchased Stop The Bleed Kits for each of the district’s buildings, to help the school comply with one of the changes recently made to state law by Senate Bill 68. Supt. Dr Tinna Croy says it’s the latest donation the hospital has made to support student health and safety.

The donations were mentioned as part of the annual health services report delivered to Carrollton’s board of education at their Oct. 14 meeting. The board also reviewed a proposal to expand the hospital’s sports medicine offerings to the district’s student athletes. Croy says a doctor at the hospital currently visits with students once a week.

Croy adds that Carroll County Memorial Hospital and Carrollton R-VII Schools continue to explore additional partnership opportunities.
