Because of street construction, two streets in a Moberly neighborhood are under a boil advisory.

The City of Moberly announced Wednesday, Oct. 22 that water service has been interrupted to Longview West and Maurwood Street. The interruption comes as emergency work has begun on Longview Street following a problem that developed on a recent milling and overlay project.

Residents who lose service or have water pressure will go under a boil advisory for 48 hours. Any water used for consumption should be boiled for three minutes and allowed to cool before use.
