Students, staff, and parents at the Orearville R-IV School are pulling out all the stops for a chili and soup supper, which will take place from 5 until 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25.

This year’s menu also includes a vegetable beef soup, hot dogs, drink and dessert. McWhorter says the school’s PTO is looking to help fund the purchase of new bleachers for the gymnasium, and last year contributed to an expansion of the school’s playground.

Tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for kids; the prices will increase by $1 at the door. Tickets can be purchased in advance for the chili supper by contacting the school at 660-529-2481 or through the district’s Facebook page.
