The Pettis County Commission presented a proclamation declaring October 2025 as University of Missouri Extension Month in recognition of the Extension’s ongoing work to improve lives through research-based education, agriculture, youth programs, and community partnerships.

During the event, the Commission also recognized David Callis and his family for their Durley Farm, which has been designated a Missouri Century Farm, honoring over 100 years of continuous family ownership.

The Pettis County Commission expressed appreciation for the continued collaboration with the University of Missouri Extension and extended congratulations to the Callis family for their lasting contribution to Missouri’s agricultural legacy.
