The Missouri Department of Transportation is performing maintenance work throughout Johnson, Cooper, and Howard County from October 27-31.

In Johnson County, pavement repair work is scheduled on Missouri Highway 131 between Missouri Highway 2 and Southeast 700 road on Monday and Tuesday. Pavement repair operations are also planned on Missouri Highway 58 between Holden and the Cass County line on Wednesday and Thursday. Flagging operations will be in effect from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. for the work.

Culvert replacement work is scheduled on Cooper County Route Y on Monday. One lane of the roadway will remain open as crews flag traffic through the work zone. Cooper County Route U will be closed for a culvert replacement at Route J on Tuesday.

Shoulder work in planned on Missouri Route 240 in Howard County from Route W to County Road 419 from Monday through Thursday. Also, pavement repair work is scheduled on Route Z on Tuesday and Wednesday. Flagging operations will be in effect for both of these work zones.

All work is weather permitting.
