The Moberly City Council voted to amend the City Code updating the fees and charges related to late water utility bills during its meeting last week.

Community Relations Manager Scott McGarvey says the amendment modernizes the process and sets up a 20 percent late fee for late water utility payments.

 

The council also approved a bid from Altorfer CAT out of Moberly to purchase a mini excavator for the Street Department. The purchase was approved in the amount of $81,431.

The council’s next meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 3.
