The Missouri Valley College women’s soccer continues to climb up the rankings in the latest NAIA Women’s Soccer Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.

The Vikings moved up one position from the previous poll, and are now ranked No. 4, the highest position for the program in more than 30 years. The team finished with a 2-0-1 record during the latest ratings period. The Vikings posted a 2-1 win over Grand View, a 7-0 victory over Mount Mercy, and played then-No. 19 MidAmerica Nazarene to a 0-0 tie. Tuesday’s 3-0 win over Missouri Baptist did not factor into this edition of the coaches’ poll.

Two other programs from the Heart of America Athletic Conference join Missouri Valley in the rankings. Central Methodist moved up to No. 13 and MidAmerica Nazarene fell to No. 22.

The Vikings are 1-0-3 against teams currently ranked in the coaches’ poll. The women’s soccer team has now been Nationally ranked in 51 of the previous 53 coaches’ polls, dating back to the 2020 season.

Missouri Valley is 12-0-4 overall and 10-0-2 in the Heart. Up next, is the regular season finale, on the road in Baldwin City, Kansas, against Baker. Women’s game starts at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men’s game at 7:30.
