25-1030-truck-in-grass-outside-community-bank

1:15 p.m. UPDATE: The semi has been removed and the roadway is now clear.

No injuries were reported after a tractor-trailer missed a turn Thursday, Oct. 30 and ran into the grass at a bank in Marshall.

A spokesman for Marshall Police tells KMMO News that the truck’s driver was seeking to turn into the Plaza parking lot along W. College Street on Thursday around 3:41 a.m., when he instead pulled into the nearby bank’s parking lot. The driver attempted to return to College, but because of the recent rain, drove onto the soft ground and became stuck. The spokesman adds that police have not heard when a tow company will be in the area to remove the semi.

Any potential delays will be communicated by police, which KMMO News will pass along as the details are announced.
