
The first district tournaments for boys soccer kick off Saturday, Nov. 1 around the state.
Moberly will host the Class Two, District Four tournament, which will begin with second-seeded Kirksville battling conference foes Fulton. Southern Boone has the three seed and will take on Mexico. The host Spartans have the four seed and will face Missouri Military Academy, with the winner playing top-seed Tolton Catholic on Tuesday. Teams in District Seven are traveling to Harrisonville, where Odessa and Oak Grove kick things off in the four/five matchup. The winner will get top-seeded Pleasant Hill on Tuesday. Chillicothe begins play in District Eight as the six seed, and will travel to third-seed Maryville. The District Six tournament at Knob Noster begins Tuesday, with top-seeded Marshall receiving a bye and not playing until Thursday evening.
Smith-Cotton is hosting the Class Four, District Seven tournament, and will have the third seed. The Tigers battle Blue Springs, with the winner facing either Blue Springs South or Truman on Tuesday. In Class Three, Warrensburg have the seventh seed in the District Five tournament, and will go up against Capital City on Tuesday evening.
District tournaments for our area teams in Class One all begin Monday.
