A boil advisory is scheduled in the city of Boonville as the Public Works Department conduct work on the water main on Tuesday.

According to the department, crews will switching over to a new main line beginning at 11 a.m., which will require the department to briefly shut off water access to residents on Reams Road, Hickam Street, Rice Avenue, and the 800 block of Bingham Road.

After water service is restored, a 48-hour boil advisory will go into effect for those residents. Anyone with questions should contact Boonville Public Works at 660-882-5257.
