The 2025 Rawlings Gold Glove winners were announced Sunday night, with two Kansas City Royals infielders being selected for the award.

Shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. earned his second consecutive award, finishing with the most Outs Above Average (OAA) in the American League at +24. Third Basemen Maikel Garcia was honored with his first career Gold Glove, joining George Brett as the only Royals players to earned the award at the hot corner. Garcia finished with +17 OAA and +13 defensive runs saved, both leading all AL third basemen.

Garcia and Witt also became the first teammates on the left side of the infield to win Gold Gloves in the same year since Manny Machado and J.J. Hardy did it for Baltimore in 2013.

In the National League, St. Louis shortstop Masyn Winn earned his first career Gold Glove, becoming the youngest Cardinals player to win the award. Winn also joined Edgar Renteria, Ozzie Smith, and Dal Maxvill as the only Cardinals shortstops to earn a Gold Glove. This was also the 100th Gold Glove won by a St. Louis Cardinal, which is the most by any MLB team.

The Silver Slugger winners will be announced on Thursday. In the AL, the Royals have four finalists, including Witt, first basemen Vinnie Pasquantino, catcher Salvador Perez, and Garcia, who is a nominee in the Utility position. For the NL, the Cardinals have two finalists up for the Utility award. Alec Burleson and Brendan Donovan were both named as finalists in that category.
