A Warrensburg man died after he was struck behind his truck on a Henry County bridge Tuesday, Nov. 4.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the 50-year-old’s truck was stopped in the eastbound lane of Route C on the bridge over Tebo Creek, about eight miles east of Clinton. The driver was standing behind the truck when a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old man from Windsor struck the man and then the truck. The Warrensburg man was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic. Troopers say the truck’s lights were not on at the time of the crash, which occurred around 6:50 p.m. The Windsor man sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a Clinton hospital.
