The Knob Noster Board of Aldermen accepted a bid for water tower maintenance during its meeting on Tuesday, November 4.

Aldermen reviewed bids for maintenance of the city’s water tower during its October 21st meeting. The bids included the base bid for the interior work, as well as an add alternate for exterior work to the tower. The board decided to table any decision on the bids during that meeting to give city staff time to review the city’s finances and see if the city could afford the project. After meetings with the Finance Committee, City Administrator Cameron Jackson says the Board of Aldermen voted to approve the base bid and the add alternate.

 

The board approved the bid from Maguire Iron in the amount of $410,000.

In other news, Jackson says the board held a discussion regarding the city’s 2026 budget.

 

The next Fiscal Year for the City of Knob Noster begins January 1, 2026.
