Our unusually warm fall will abruptly experience the season’s first freezing cold snap this weekend, as a cold front is set to dip into the region.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Alan Curtis says the front is expected to come through late Saturday, Nov. 8, bringing with it below-freezing temperatures.
Curtis adds that while the cold snap will last a few days, the coldest temperatures won’t arrive right away.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Alan Curtis notes that the risk of wintry precipitation presently remains low, with chances of snow staying north of the state line.
