James Michael Richart, 77, of Grand Pass, MO, died Friday, November 7, 2025, at E.W. Thompson Health and Rehabilitation Center in Sedalia, MO.

The family will hold a memorial graveside service at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO, at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Tracy Richart for funeral expenses in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. An online guestbook may be signed at www.campbell-lewis.com.

James was born on May 21, 1948, in Marshall, MO. He was a graduate of Santa Fe High School in Alma, MO. He was a member of the Christian Church, a life member of the Concordia VFW, and he loved being with his family and friends.

James married Tracy Elizabeth Cartee on January 18, 1974, in Marshall, and she survives of the home. James has three children: April Sullivan, Jesse Richart (Laura) and Kathryn Richart; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Richart.
