The Missouri Tigers improved to 2-0 on the season with an 89-84 win over Southeast Missouri State at Mizzou Arena on Friday, November 7.

The home opener for the Tigers did not go as planned in the first half, as the Redhawks carried a 51-46 lead into the locker room at the half.

Mizzou rallied in the second half, with Mark Mitchell leading the way and finishing with 29 points on 12 of 14 shooting to help the Tigers complete the comeback.

The Tigers also got key contributions from Anthony Robinson II, who chipped in with 15 points. Jayden Stone came off the bench to score 14. Mizzou 59 percent from the floor and 40 percent from three-point range.

The Tigers will next host the VMI Keydets on Sunday, November 9. Tip-off from Mizzou Arena is at 3:30 p.m.
