UPDATE @ 8:10 a.m.: The Missouri State Highway Patrol and Nevada Police Department have cancelled the endangered silver advisory issued this morning for Ted Joseph Brownsberger.  Authorities day they have located the 87-year-old man from Benton County and is safe.

The Nevada Police Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol have issued an endangered silver advisory for a Benton County man.

The agencies say that 87-year-old Ted Joseph Brownsberger was last seen driving in an unknown direction. Police say that they discovered his wife in a parking lot in Nevada early Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025, with no other trace of Brownsberger’s whereabouts. Brownsberger was not at his home in Benton County, and they have no known local connection to the Nevada area.
