The Marshall-Saline Development Corporation discussed the progress of a new Villa Community coming to the City of Sweet Springs.

The board held this discussion during its meeting on Tuesday. Sweet Springs Land Investments, developing for La Bella Vistas, held a groundbreaking at the site on Pear Tree Drive on Friday, November 7. MSDC Director Conner Swift tells KMMO News that there will be 15 new villas constructed, ranging from 1,100 to 1,200 square feet.

 

Construction is expected to be complete by next summer. Swift says the new Villa Community will be a great boon for the city and community.

 

In other news, Swift stated that MSDC is accepting resumes to fill two at-large seats on the board. Anyone interested in joining the board can submit a resume at director@msdcmo.com until December 8. The board will determine who will fill the at-large seats at its next meeting on Tuesday, December 9.
