A Stover man suffered serious injury after his motorcycle struck a deer in northern Morgan County on Wednesday, Nov. 12.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the 68-year-old man was on his Harley Davidson north on Route 135, when at around 11:30 a.m., his motorcycle struck a deer that had entered the roadway about two miles south of Florence. The collision caused serious injury to the man, who was taken by ambulance to a Columbia hospital.
