The Norborne R-8 School District Board of Education reviewed a potential Track Co-op with Hardin-Central, ultimately deciding to put any discussions on hold until Spring 2026.
The board made this decision during its November 10th meeting. Superintendent Jennifer Courtney says both schools felt like it was best to review the potential co-op in the spring.
Courtney says there are many things to consider regarding the co-op.
The Board of Education also approved a technology agreement with K12itc for the 2026-2027 school year. The board also approved filing dates for the April 2026 General Municipal Election. There will be three board seats on the ballots in April. Interested candidates can file from December 9-30.
