Water service will be interrupted for some Moberly residents on Vincil Street and Union Avenue as crews replace a water main junction.

Customers in the 700 and 800 blocks of Vincil Street and 728 and 800 Union Avenue will be affected by the work. Residents in the surrounding area may also be affected by the outage. Water service will be restored once repairs are completed.

If residents experienced low water pressure, or had no water, in their area, there will be a 48-hour Boil Advisory once water service is restored. Boil advisories are due to the time required for testing to confirm water quality in the system. During an advisory, water used for consumption should be boiled for 3 minutes and cooled before drinking.
