
A Concordia woman was killed in a motorcycle accident on Route PP in Lafayette County on Friday, November 14.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident was reported when a motorcycle driven by a 68-year-old Knob Noster man attempted to overtake another vehicle on the roadway as it was attempting to make a left hand turn. The resulting collision ejected both occupants of the motorcycle.
The motorcycle’s passenger, a 62-year-old woman from Concordia, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the motorcycle was airlifted to Research Hospital in Kansas City for treatment of serious injuries.
The accident was reported at 2:30 p.m. on Route PP and Panther Creek Road in Lafayette County. This is the 66th fatal crash and 72nd fatality reported by the Patrol’s Troop A in 2025.
