A Sedalia teenager sustained moderate injury after his vehicle struck a ditch a mile west of the city Friday, Nov. 14.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the 17-year-old was driving his sedan west on Sacajawea Road around 9:30 p.m., when at Palmer Road his vehicle went off the left side of the roadway and struck a ditch. The teen received treatment at a nearby hospital. It’s unknown if he was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
