The Concordia R-2 School District Board of Education approved a Memorandum of Understanding with the Missouri Valley Community Action Agency (MVCAA) for the school’s Head Start program.

The MOU was approved by the board during its meeting on November 12th. The agreement outlines the roles and responsibilities of the district with the program. Superintendent Theresa Christian discusses the impact and benefits of the Head Start program.

 

The Board of Education also approved additional Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) services to the district’s contract with The Pediatric Place for the 2025-2026 school year.

 

Concordia’s School Board also discussed the district’s Gaggle Alert policy, but took no action during the meeting. Christian says the board will review additional options during its next meeting in December.
