The City of Moberly is responding to a reported gas leak on East Urbandale.

The Moberly Police Department along with Moberly Fire Department and AmrenUE are on the scene of a gas leak in the 1400 block of East Urbandale.

Route M and Urbandale will be closed from the west side of U.S. Highway 63 to Gratz-Brown St for an undetermined amount of time.

Residents are encouraged to avoid the area and find alternate routes.

Earlier this week, a water outage was reported on 1600 East Urbandale, with a 48-hour Boil Advisory going into effect.
