A Cole Camp woman is facing a felony charge that she stole from the school organization she was the treasurer of.

Court documents accuse 37-year-old Andrea N Butler of making $4138.43 in unauthorized purchases and withdrawals from the account of the Cole Camp R-I PTO. Butler became its treasurer in September, and is accused of cashing checks and making several cash withdrawals between Oct. 16, 2025 and Nov. 6, 2025 that did not correspond with any of the group’s events. She’s also accused of withdrawing cash for events but not depositing the money back, and making online purchases that had no connection to the organization.

Butler has been released on summons, with her next court date pending.
