The Knob Noster Board of Aldermen continued discussion on the city’s 2026 budget, preparing for the start of the next Fiscal Year on January 1, 2026.
The board held this discussion during its November 18th meeting, continuing work to finalize the budget before its approval next month. City Administrator Cameron Jackson says Tuesday night’s discussion focused on the usage of more enterprise funds for various projects.
In other news, the board received a request to consider a letter of support for the Union Pacific Railroad merger with Norfolk Southern. Jackson says the board decided to not move forward with the letter of support after a representative of Union Pacific declined to present at the meeting. The board also approved a bid for a new salt spreader for the Public Works Department.
The Knob Noster Board of Aldermen will next meet on Tuesday, December 2.
