The Missouri Department of Transportation has shoulder work and other projects scheduled over the next three days before taking off for Thanksgiving.

Shoulder work is underway Monday, Nov. 24 through Wednesday, Nov. 26, each day from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., on Route J from U.S. Route 65 east to the Chariton County line. Shoulder work is also ongoing through Tuesday on Routes AA and D in Moniteau County, with one lane remaining open and crews flagging traffic through the work zone. Motorists along Route 240 in Howard County between Route W and County Road 419 will continue to witness shoulder work here Monday and Tuesday. Work is also scheduled for Route 87 in eastern Boonville, between Route 98 and Jackson Road.

Elsewhere, culvert replacements are underway on Route Y through the Rocky Mount area in Morgan County this week. One lane will remain open. Additional roadside work is planning along Route FF in Howard County on Monday and Tuesday. And crews are nearing completion of pedestrian facility upgrades around Route V in Sturgeon from North Rudy to West Harris streets. Intermittent nighttime single-lane closures will remain in place as the finishing touches are put on the improvements.
