The Orearville R-IV School District saw an increase of almost 13 percent in its 2025 MSIP 6 Annual Performance Report (APR) from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Orearville increased its overall APR score to 84.6 percent, which is 12.9 percentage increase from last year. Superintendent Whitney Thompson credits the district’s students and staff for the growth.

 

Thompson says the district has also put a greater focus on schoolwide literacy goals to help facilitate future growth.

 

Thompson also highlighted the district’s RTI system, which includes frequent progress monitoring and flexible grouping and allows teachers to provide timely interventions for individual students.
