After avoiding snowfall that hit other parts of the state over the Thanksgiving weekend, the KMMO listening area is on track to receive as much as four inches of snow Monday, Dec. 1, 2025 as the second wave of a storm system rolls through the region.
National Weather Service meteorologist Jonathan Kurtz says they’re already starting to see precipitation fall in the Kansas City area, and expects the first bands to reach Marshall and points north later Monday morning.
Kurtz adds that any snow accumulation may stick around awhile.
Kurtz reminds anyone that has to travel Monday to slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.
