A Lincoln man was flown to a Columbia hospital after he was injured in a two-vehicle collision the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 2.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the 80-year-old man had been traveling west on Route H near Hites Point Road, about ten miles east of Warsaw, when his vehicle went off the left side of the roadway and landed on its passenger side. Troopers say that at about 9:20 a.m., another pickup slid off the ice-covered roadway and struck the first pickup. The Lincoln man sustained serious injury and was flown to a Columbia hospital. No injuries were reported for the other driver.
