Fayette will light up with Christmas spirit for its annual Festival of Lights on Saturday, Dec. 6, with a full day of events planned.
The City of Fayette and Downtown Fayette welcome visitors to the downtown square for the annual Country Christmas Vendor Fair from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., as well as a kids market from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Downtown will also host the annual Lighted Christmas Parade at 5:30 p.m. Fayette city administrator Deanna Cooper says the parade has grown significantly over the years.
Before the parade, The Attic will host Christmas Carolers and pictures with Santa from 2 to 4 p.m., while the Fayette Chamber of Commerce will stage a hot cocoa competition at 3 p.m. Saturday’s festivities in Fayette also includes a holiday homes tour from 1 to 4 p.m.
