The Odessa Board of Aldermen welcomed two new officers with the City’s Police Department during its most recent meeting.

School Resource Officer Ben Brown and patrol officer Alexis Parrott were introduced during the board’s meeting Monday night. City Administrator Shawna Davis says both will be great additions to the city’s department.

 

In other news from the board’s December 8th meeting, Aldermen approved the redemption of some of the city’s outstanding sewerage system revenue bonds from 2005. Davis says the city is using debt service funds to pay off the remaining balance.

 

The board’s next meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 22.
