The Missouri Department of Transportation is performing maintenance work in Johnson, Lafayette, and Saline Counties from December 15-19. All work is weather permitting.

Brush cutting work is scheduled on three routes in Johnson County throughout the week. The work will take place on Route JJ on Monday, on Route EE from Tuesday through Friday, and on Route B from Monday through Friday. Flagging operations will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

In Lafayette County, brush cutting work is scheduled on I-70 at the rest area west of Concordia near mile marker 57.6. Intermittent right lane closures are scheduled on the eastbound and westbound I-70 throughout the week. Ditch work is also scheduled on U.S. Highway 24 and Missouri Highway 23 throughout the week. Crews will also perform culvert replacement work on Old Highway 40 between Bonn Street and Panther Creek Road on Wednesday.

Shoulder repair work will take place on two Saline County highways. Crews will start on Missouri Highway 20 between Highway 65 and the Lafayette County until Wednesday, and then shift to Missouri Highway 41 north between Missouri 240 and the Carroll County line on Thursday and Friday.
