The Missouri Department of Transportation is closing a bridge over the Little Chariton River on Monday, Dec. 15, days after contractors completed a bridge deck replacement project outside Ludlow.
Crews with E&C Bridge will begin work Monday on the Route KK bridge over the Little Chariton River, north of Glasgow. The project to replace the bridge deck is expected to take until March. The work begins as E&C completed a similar project Wednesday, Dec. 10 on the Route D bridge south of Ludlow over the Shoal Creek Drainage Ditch and is now open to traffic.
E&C continue work on two Carroll County bridges: Route JJ over the West Fork of Wakenda Creek northwest of Norborne and Route B over Sambo Creek, south of Wakenda. MoDOT expects these two bridges to reopen over the next month. All work is weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
