The body of a Marshall woman who was reported missing over the weekend has been located in the Lamine River.

71-year-old Mildred Wolfe was reportedly last seen on Saturday, December 13, prompting an Endangered Silver Advisory over the weekend. Wolfe’s vehicle was located on a bridge in western Cooper County on December 14th. Authorities report the vehicle appeared to have been involved in a vehicle collision.

Deputies from the Saline County Sheriff’s Office and the Cooper County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene, with the Missouri State Highway Patrol conducting the crash investigation. Wolfe was later discovered deceased in the Lamine River.

According to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, no foul play is suspected at this time. The incident remains under investigation. KMMO News will update this story as more information becomes available.
