The Saline County Commission will consider three ordinances at their session Wednesday, Dec. 17, including one pertaining to dust control.
Commissioners introduced the dust control ordinance at their most recent session, which would require property owners who apply dust control on a road in the county’s common road district to notify the road and bridge department in writing prior to application. Property owners would also be required to foot the bill for any dust control. Ordinances pertaining to after-hours use of the courthouse and floodplain management will also come before the commission when they meet on the first floor of the Saline County Courthouse on Wednesday at 9 a.m.
