The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced that the Carroll County Route JJ bridge over West Fork Wakenda Creek, northwest of Norborne, reopened to traffic on Wednesday, December 17.
This bridge had been closed for bridge deck replacement work since October 21. MoDOT has contracted E&C Bridge, LLC to complete bridge deck replacement projects on four bridges in Carroll, Chariton and Livingston counties. The other bridges included in this project include the Carroll County Route B span over Sambo Creek, south of Wakenda; the Chariton County Route KK bridge over the Little Chariton River, north of Glasgow; and recently reopened Livingston County Route D bridge over the Shoal Creek Drainage Ditch, south of Ludlow.
More information about the project is posted on MoDOT’s website.
